Why is it called Cyber Monday?
Back when Black Friday was still mainly a shop-floor event, American online retailers moved their own offers to the Monday afterwards. That became Cyber Monday. Today the line between the two days has all but disappeared, but the name has stuck – and for many people it's the day the decision finally gets made.
